Toffee Break started out as a nice gesture by my wife. She knew I loved toffee and started playing with recipes to make me s batch for Christmas. It was awesome! We shared some with friends, and everyone loved it. They started asking for more. One friend suggested Jenny should sell it…and Toffee Break was born.
It’s still my favorite treat/dessert/sweet-tooth-satisfier ever. It’s the texture – the soft crunch. The chocolate and pecans (my fave). The hint of sea salt. I’ve eaten a lot of toffee and never had another I like better. It’s truly addictive. I’ve heard multiple stories of friends who have crushed an entire 1/2 lb bag in a sitting. I’ve also heard from the spouses who didn’t get a single bite. When I’ve helped at the farmer’s market or boutiques where Jenny sells, I’ve met so many people who come looking for “the toffee lady.” Addictive. Try it and see what you think.
